Using the Record Sale Modal

When a deal moves to “Sold” in your insurance pipeline, Gravity Pipeline Pro’s Record Sale modal lets you log all the relevant sale details — carrier placement, premium, effective date, and coverage type — directly from the pipeline card. This data syncs to NowCerts and is captured in your analytics dashboard.

Opening the Record Sale Modal

  1. Click on any pipeline card to open the detail panel.
  2. Click the Record Sale button in the panel toolbar.
  3. The Record Sale modal opens.

What You’ll Enter in the Modal

The modal supports multiple coverage lines per sale. For each line:

  • Product / Coverage Type — e.g., Auto, Home, Commercial GL, Workers’ Comp
  • Carrier / Placement — which carrier or market the coverage was placed with
  • Premium Amount — the annual or total premium for this line
  • Effective Date — when the coverage takes effect
  • Commission (optional) — your agency’s commission on this line

Click Add Line to add additional coverage lines for the same sale (e.g., a client buying both auto and home).

Submitting the Sale

  1. Fill in all required fields for each coverage line.
  2. Click Record Sale.
  3. The entry is automatically moved to your Won/Sold archive zone.
  4. If AMS Sync is configured, the sale data syncs to NowCerts as an opportunity or policy record.
  5. The sale details are saved to the entry’s history and appear in your analytics dashboard revenue totals.

Editing a Recorded Sale

To edit a sale after recording it, open the entry detail panel and click Edit Sale Record. Update the fields and save. The analytics dashboard reflects the updated figures immediately.

Viewing Sale History

All recorded sales appear in the Analytics Dashboard under the Won/Sold section, broken down by coverage line, carrier, and team member. Export to CSV for agency reporting.
